We wanted to let teams know about some changes to our schedule. We found out tonight that Salisbury Community Park in Salisbury NC will be hosting a Regional Little League event on our weekend there July 1,2 so we they have taken that date back and given us the next weekend, July 8,9. We have just made this adjustment on the website. This is one of those circumstances that we have no control over.
We also have added the Lions Club in Walnut Cove NC to our schedule for several dates in May, June and July with more to come. Please check out our Who’s Playing Spring/Fall section of website to see the dates they are added. We will update the TOURNAMENTS page on our website tomorrow to reflect this. We are happy to add this park back to our schedule. We played in Walnut Cove in 2013 and 2014. We thank them for stepping up and helping us cover the dates that we had at the YMCA in Eden NC and we will definitely be playing there in 2018 and beyond.
We made an announcement over the weekend about USA Softball of NC and our partnership with a new park in Asheville NC set to open in August of 2018. The Enka Sports Complex is a 7 field, $9 million dollar facility and USA Softball of NC is the EXCLUSIVE Fastpitch Softball tournament provider to this park. We now have worked out our dates for 2018. This is subject to change as the park may be completed earlier but for now listed below are the events for this park. We are happy to announce that after our meeting with them today, we have been given a date at the Cove Creek Park in Faber, Virginia. We will host a tournament there on June 24-25, 2017 and we have already been given our 2018 date (June 21-24, 2018). We will get this years info on our website tonight and we wanted to let teams know that our event in 2018 will feature 2 – 2 Day events. We will play the 14u and 16u/18u ages on Thurs and Friday, June 21,22 and the 10u and 12u ages will play there on Saturday/Sunday June 23,24. This park was built by writer John Grisham in 1996 and is a beautiful park. We are honored that they have chosen Got Game to run the only travel softball event they allow each season. We hope to come to an agreement with them on another date in July of 2018 but they want to see how things go for our June date this year. We have listed below a LINK to see pictures of their site and please visit their Facebook page at Cove Creek Park to see how beautiful this park is. Very grateful that teams and this park want us to be there! Thank you #GotGameNation!

We are honored to announce that we have come to an agreement with the Enka Sports Complex in Asheville NC to host events at their park beginning in August of 2018. This new 9 million dollar facility has chosen USA Softball of NC to be the EXCLUSIVE provider to that park for Fastpitch Softball! This park will have 7 fields with turf infields. We will be announcing soon the details of our 1st 2 events there on August 4-5 and August 9-12, 2018. You can get more information about this park on their Twitter page at Enka Sports Complex. We have some pics listed below of the construction going on and the artist renderings of the 7 fields. Once the details of our 1st 2 day tournament and our Showcase are available we will post to our website. We anticipate this park drawing teams from several states and becoming one of the nicest complexes in the Southeast. We know once you play there one time, you will be coming back time after time! Many more details will be released in coming weeks about all the Premium features that this park will be offering to players, teams and fans.
After several weeks of discussions, we met today with the Southwest Athletics. We have worked out an agreement to play there on August 12,13 at the Southwest Athletics Facility, 3801 Dillon Industrial Drive, Clemmons NC. Out of the 6 fields that we will use at this facility, 4 have artificial turf infields, so during events at this park, we will NOT ALLOW metal cleats. Although the fields have artificial turf infields, there are NO permanent mounds on the fields we will use. As all of you know, we do NOT play on fields with permanent mounds. This is a safety issue in our opinion and we will stay away from those fields/parks. This park also does NOT allow pets. They will now allow in outside coolers/food/drink but they have a very nice concession stand with many items. It took some time, but we are very happy that we were able to come to an agreement to be able to host tournaments at this park. We will be adding this event to our Tournament list this evening. This event will be the deciding factor whether we play there more in 2018 so please sign up if you would like to see more tournaments there next season. We are visiting many new parks in the coming weeks so we hope to have more announcements like this one. To sign up for this event, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
